INTRODUCING: DRIVE BY LA

My husband and I were determined to get away with not driving in LA as much as possible when we moved here. That hasn't worked out as well as we hoped. Having a car for the first time after using SF's public transportation for 11 years makes us feel like we can go anywhere! Cruisin' for a bruisin has never felt so good, so we decided to start a little photo project together. Every time we step in the car the passenger's got the camera ready to snap any and all great moments that happen in LA as we drive by them. It's insanely fun and allows us to see the city in a whole new way. For now, we're keeping it on tumblr and will be updating it everyday, so stop by! Would love to hear your thoughts or recommendations for streets that are a must for a little Drive By (sans the pow! pow!).

i love the idea and often do the same in my own car w/o posting. nice one.
what a lovely collection of stories these photos tell. i am originally from california, raised just north of los angeles (so i have spent a loooooot of time there). living in stockholm now. and these photos just made me absolutely homesick. just lovely....
